Housing Resource Centers Are Here!
Bay Area Community Services (BACS) is proud to launch our new Housing Resource Centers (HRCs) throughout Alameda County. Our HRCs are designed to be welcoming, community-based access points where individuals and families experiencing or at risk of homelessness can receive personalized support and connections to the services they need.
At BACS, we believe in meeting people where they are. Our HRCs operate as “Housing Resource Centers Without Walls,” delivering services both inside our centers and throughout the community to ensure no one falls through the cracks.
Our teams provide:
- Housing problem-solving and homelessness prevention
- Housing navigation and Coordinated Entry access
- Case management and service planning
- Benefits and resource navigation
- Employment and income support connections
- Referrals to behavioral health, medical, and community services
- Ongoing support to help individuals achieve long-term housing stability
- Outreach services in the community to provide housing supports
